How It All Began
As a newly-minted director in charge of the global supply chain at a Fortune 100 manufacturer, Trevor Stansbury was frustrated by the utter lack of visibility he had into his company’s distributed, fragmented supply network. Like many other OEMs, the company’s ‘MO’ was “to fix things with armies of people and the mother of all spreadsheets.” Strategic projects were overwhelmed by the day-to-day firefighting that occurs when companies lack the basic tools and information needed to drive meaningful, transformational change. There had to be a better way.
Seventeen years later, Supply Dynamics has worked with more than 65 Fortune 500 manufacturers and over 10,000 of their outside suppliers. The SDX platform serves as the digital thread across an OEMs distributed manufacturing network reconnecting finished parts and assemblies with the raw materials and standard catalog parts that go into them and enabling customer to unlock the hidden value in their supply chains.
